The YMCA Retirement Fund has elected Robert T. Lutts to serve on its board of trustees, effective Jan. 1.
Lutts is president and chief investment officer of Cabot Money Management Inc., which manages more than $500 million assets under management. He also serves as head of the company’s investment policy committee.
Lutts will serve on the 16-member volunteer board of trustees- which includes top experts in investment management, employee benefits, communications, technology, pension and tax law, and organizational strategy. Cabot’s President and CIO will serve on the board’s audit and investment committees.
Lutts is a longtime supporter of the YMCA, serving as chairman of the board of trustees of the YMCA of the North Shore in Beverly. He is also treasurer for the North Shore Chamber of Commerce and for the Board of Commissioners of the city of Salem Trust Funds. He is overseer of the North Shore Medical Center Foundation, and president of the Salem State College Foundation.
