Andrew J. Calamare has joined The Co-operative Central Bank of Boston as executive vice president.
Calamare comes to The Co-operative Central Bank from the Life Insurance Association of Massachusetts where he served as president and chief executive officer, according to a statement. He is a director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston and a member and past chairman of The Co-operative Central Bank board of directors.
"Andy’s extensive expertise in regulatory issues, his government experience and his vast banking knowledge will serve us well going forward as we deal with the myriad issues facing our industry at both the state and national levels," said Peter A. Conrad, president and CEO. "The timing is perfect."
Calamare previously served as counsel with the Boston law firm Quinn and Morris, specializing in administrative and regulatory law.
