The board of directors of Cambridge Bancorp, the parent company of Cambridge Trust Company, has approved a 6.1 percent increase in its quarterly dividend from $0.33 per share to $0.35 per share.

The dividend is payable Jan. 4 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 10.
