Cambridge has been named the best city for new college graduates in the country by Livability.com, which analyzes U.S. cities based on factors such as transportation and cultural ammonites.

To determine the list of top cities for college graduates, Livability examined the number of 25- to 34-year-olds living in a city, the availability of rental properties, unemployment rates, educational attainment levels, use of public transportation and the types of jobs the city offered. The company also sought out cities that cater to a younger demographic by offering lots of recreational and nightlife activities.

Cambridge has more than 600 companies providing jobs, most of which are high paying when compared to the average American salary, according to Livability. Housing, while in high demand and more expensive than the national average, isn’t too difficult to find, the site reports, with more than 63 percent of homes in Cambridge serving as rental properties.

Bellevue, Wash.; Austin, Texas; Bethesda, Md.; and Minneapolis, Minn., rounded out the list’s top five cities, respectively.
