Cambridge Savings Bank recently provided a free credit workshop to 30 members of The Salvation Army’s "Continuum of Care for Men." The Salvation Army program offers recovery and transitional services.

Cambridge Savings Bank’s workshop, titled "Improving Your Credit," explained how to work toward a favorable credit history, the importance of good credit and consulting trustworthy resources in the process. It was part of the bank’s participation in "Get Smart About Credit," a national initiative of the American Bankers Association.

"Cambridge Savings Bank is honored to engage members of our community currently receiving assistance from The Salvation Army in our ‘Improving Your Credit’ session," Evan Diamond, Cambridge Savings Bank vice president and financial education program manager, said in a statement.
