Cambridge Savings BankThe Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation recently awarded $65,000 in scholarships to 26 local high school seniors from 13 different eastern Massachusetts high schools through the 2011 Kevin J. Fitzgerald Scholarship Program.

"Cambridge Savings Bank remains committed to supporting local students who are dedicated to their community and furthering their education," said Robert M. Wilson, president of the Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation and president and CEO of Cambridge Savings Bank. "The Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation is proud to have provided hundreds of scholarships to area students over the years."

In addition to receiving scholarships, students were also offered summer jobs at Cambridge Savings Bank, in order to earn extra money to help with college expenses, according to a statement.

The scholarship recipients include:

  • Acton-Boxborough: Molly Coop and Cailin Flannery
  • Arlington: Jillene Cadigan, Sarah Ghabbour and Zack Smiley
  • Bedford: Alice Hwang and Gina Ballard
  • Belmont: Charlotte Barton and Stephanie Jean
  • Burlington: Jaclyn Jensen and Shanica Gregory-Cox
  • Cambridge: Arjun Agarwala and Ashley Vincent
  • Concord-Carlisle: James Hitchcock and Victoria Vierstra
  • Lexington: Sheridan Adley and Rudy Zuccaro
  • Minuteman: Stephen Colarusso
  • Newton North: Lucy Mazur-Warren and Shannon Jarden-Quern
  • Newton South: Naeun (Jessica) Kang
  • Somerville: Joshua Scarry and Robert Rudolph
  • Watertown: Mane Harutyunyan, Rachel Thomas and Brian Francione
