Cambridge Savings Bank has launched a social media/social giving campaign to support safe, fun summer experiences for area youth.
In July, every time somebody clicks "like" on the Cambridge Savings Bank Facebook page the bank will donate $5 to Cambridge Camping, which provides summer camp opportunities for children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend a camp.
"Social media provides a unique opportunity to bring together a community of like-minded people to contribute to, and engage with, a great organization," Kevin J. Fitzgerald, acting president and CEO of Cambridge Savings Bank, said in a statement.
Cambridge Camping offers day camps and overnight partner-camps to low income children in the community.
