The mission of Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House is to strengthen and empower youth, families and community residents, according to a statement.

"Cambridge Savings Bank’s commitment of $5,000 will enable five children to attend the program through scholarships this summer," said Mark Sterns, director of the School Age Program, Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House. "This money will go to families in extreme financial need who cannot afford childcare, and whose children would otherwise spend the summer at home, or wandering the neighborhood, without any sort of enriching activity."

"Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House helps strengthen and empower the Area IV community," said Robert M. Wilson, president and CEO of Cambridge Savings Bank. "Their summer program is a wonderful place for children to have fun and learn during their school vacations."
