Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank has opened a new location on Nantucket. 

The 9,200-square-foot branch at 112 Pleasant St. was designed by Yarmouthport-based Brown Lindquist Fenuccio & Raber Architects Inc., and the general contractor was Falmouth-based J.K. Scanlan.

It features an energy-efficient design that will lessen its impact on the island’s natural environment. Some of the energy-efficient building’s sustainable features include high-efficiency HVAC, windows and LED lighting; low VOC paints and adhesives; low flow plumbing fixtures; and water efficient landscaping.
