The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank on Monday celebrated the opening of a new Wareham/Tri-Town banking center.

The 5,000-square-foot banking center is located at 10 Rosebrook Place in Wareham. The building conforms to the bank’s green building goals, and was designed by Brown, Lindquist, Fenuccio and Raber Architects of Yarmouthport, and built by J.K. Scanlon Co. of Falmouth.

The bank broke ground on the new facility in August 2013. It is Cape Cod Five’s second Wareham/Tri-Town location, following the bank’s loan production office in Marion, which will remain open.

"As a community bank, we are deeply involved in the towns we serve. Our goal is to be a participant, not just a presence in the community," Dorothy A. Savarese, president and CEO of The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, said in a statement. "And after meeting so many members of this community, and spending time with the nonprofits that operate here, I feel so happy that we made the decision to open a banking center here."
