B&D Carpet and Flooring has purchased a 20,000-square-foot office/flex building located at 217 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington from Howland Development.

A sales price was not disclosed. The Burlington building was last assessed for $1.2 million, according to The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.

B&D Carpet and Flooring will be relocating from Cambridge Street in Burlington, according to a statement. The company will occupy 5,700 square feet on the first floor of the building. It will be leasing the 10,000-square-fot office space on the second floor.

Edward Carbone of Carbone Commercial Real Estate Inc. brokered the building sale.
