The celebrity chef Ming Tsai, who hosts a PBS cooking show and operates Blue Ginger in Wellesley, will dish out new plates when he opens a new eatery in Boston’s Fort Point district.

Ming plans to open a new restaurant at 324 A St., a former deli, according to news reports.

The one-story shuttered building at the corner of A and Melcher streets contains 2,100 square feet of restaurant space, making enough room for 70 seats. That does not include a proposed roof deck, according to marketing materials for the property on the Boston-based Dartmouth Cos. website.
