A 15,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Newburyport, formerly occupied by Northeast Quality Products, has been sold for $850,000.
The building will be utilized for storage by neighboring company, Strem Chemical, according to a statement.
The 20+ year old building at 6 Mulliken Way had limited market interest because of its low clear height and high percentage (30 percent) of dated office space, according to a statement.
"The buyer had previously passed on purchasing the property several years ago but due to a significant price reduction from the seller and Strem’s immediate need for additional warehouse space, the transaction was brought to a successful close," said Anthony Triglione, broker, of The Kane Company Inc.
