Boston-based commercial real estate firm NAI Hunneman’s downtown leasing group recently brokered 59,095 square feet of office lease transactions to multiple tenants in downtown Boston.
Tenants include R&Q USA Inc., Argo Group US Inc., Consumer United, Haber Trilix Advisors, LP and Global Rescue LLC, according to a statement. Jeffrey Becker, Christian Gotfredson, David Cooney, Bonny Doorakian and Jonathan Gifford of NAI Hunneman represented the tenants and landlords in the transactions.
“We’re very pleased to have completed these lease transactions in downtown Boston,” said David Cooney, assistant vice president at NAI Hunneman. “We’re seeing a growing demand from small-to-mid-size companies.”
Details on the recent transactions include:
· R&Q USA, a specialist non-life insurance investor, service provider and underwriting manager, leased 8,278 square feet of office space at 101 Summer St. in Boston. NAI Hunneman’s represented the tenant and CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, Synergy Investments.
· Argo Group US, an international underwriter of specialty insurance and reinsurance products in the property and casualty market, leased 12,156 square feet of office space at 250 Summer St. in Boston. NAI Hunneman represented the tenant and CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, Colonnade Properties LLC.
· Consumer United, an online consumer services organization founded in 2007 to provide group discounts to consumers on basic services, leased 6,768 square feet of office space at 201 South St. in Boston. NAI Hunneman represented the tenant and served as exclusive leasing agent for the property.
· Global Rescue LLC, which provides medical, security, transport and other services to its members, leased 8,420 square feet of office space at 177 Milk St. in Boston. NAI Hunneman represented the tenant and The Beal Cos., the landlord, represented itself in the transaction.
· Haber Trilix Advisors LP, a financial services firm, subleased 6,612 square feet of office space at 29 Commonwealth Ave. NAI Hunneman represented the tenant in the transaction and Weiss Capital Management, the sublandlord, was represented by Cresa Partners.
