Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has donated $20,000 to the One Fund Boston through its charitable foundation, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares. It has also set up a special donation page to enable employees and sales associates to contribute to the One Fund Boston.
The One Fund Boston was established by Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013.
"Like the rest of the nation, our team at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage was incredibly saddened by the devastating loss of life and severe injuries that were suffered at the 117th Boston Marathon. We wanted to find a way to assist the victims and their families as they recover from these horrific attacks. We are honored to provide our support to the One Fund Boston," Pat Villani, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England, said in a statement.
In addition to donating to the One Fund Boston, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage will be hosting a blood drive through the American Red Cross to support local communities and their needs in the wake of the Boston Marathon tragedy. The blood drive takes place June 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage headquarters, 52 Second Ave. in Waltham.
