Colliers International has hired a multifamily broker with 15 years of experience in the Boston market as the newest member of its capital markets team.

Kendin Carr has been a commercial broker in the Boston area since 2005, involved in mixed-use and multifamily acquisitions in roles at Converge Ventures, Marcus & Millichap and Realm Realty Group. He was named vice president in the Colliers investment sales team last week.

“Kendin expands the capital markets team’s multifamily investment sales platform with his expertise, unfailing work ethic and knowledge of the Greater Boston residential market,” Frank Petz, managing director of Colliers’ investment sales platform, said in a statement. “Kendin is an experienced professional who is well-respected within the real estate industry as well as the city at large.”

Colliers Executive Managing Director David Goodhue has made a priority of adding professionals from diverse backgrounds to leadership roles at the brokerage since his promotion in 2019. Last fall, Colliers hired longtime Boston nonprofit executive Jeanne Pinado as executive vice president on Colliers’ commercial sales and equity placement team.

Carr is co-chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Next Initiative council and a board member of the Boston-based Builders of Color Coalition.
