In one of the year’s largest office lease transactions in Merrimack Valley, Comcast Corp. has renewed its 98,281-square-foot lease at 330 Billerica Road in Chelmsford.

The two-story, Class A office property will continue to serve Comcast as a regional office and customer care location, according to a statement.

Mitchell Jacoby of CresaPartners in Boston represented Comcast. The landlord, Principal Financial Group, was represented by Kevin Malloy of Lincoln Property Co.

According to Jacoby, Comcast decided to remain at its present location, which the company has occupied for more than a decade, due to favorable terms secured in lease negotiations.
