Commerce Bank has promoted five office managers to the position of assistant vice president.

James How joined the bank in 2011 as manager of its Shrewsbury office. A small business banking specialist, How is a member of the Shrewsbury Public Library Leadership/Steering Committee, the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce and the Shrewsbury Rotary Club.  He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and his MBA from Endicott College.

Tabatha Magnusson was hired by Commerce Bank as an assistant branch manager in 2004, and in 2009 was named manager of the West Boylston office. Magnusson graduated from the New England School for Financial Studies.

Laila Mhirig joined the bank in 2000 and became manager of the Holden office in 2011. A member of the Holden Chamber of Commerce, she received her associate’s degree from the University of Morocco. 

Bette O’Reilly started with the bank as manager of its Westborough office in 2011. O’Reilly is a member of the Westborough Economic Development Committee, the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors and the executive board of the Westborough Rotary Club. She received her bachelor’s degree from Saint Michael’s College and a master teacher’s degree from Lasell College.

David Rose joined the bank in 2011 as manager of its Marlborough office. Rose is a member of the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and his master’s degree from the New England Conservatory of Music.
