Commerce Bank Raises $64K For United Way

L to R: Commerce Bank Senior Vice President Michael Roy; United Way Assistant Vice President Lynne Feraco; Commerce Bank President & CEO Brian Thompson, Campaign Chair Nicole Sabatini and United Way President & CEO Timothy Garvin Worcester-based Commerce Bank has donated $64,189 to United Way of Central Massachusetts.

The bank and its employees raised the money through its 2010 fundraising campaign, according to a statement.

"I commend our employees for their continued strong support of the United Way of Central Massachusetts," said Commerce Bank President and CEO Brian W. Thompson. "We are pleased to do our part to help the United Way provide the critical services that so many in our community depend upon."

"I am inspired by Commerce Bank-their leadership is exceptional and the generosity of the employees continues to show why Worcester is such a great place to live and work," said Timothy J. Garvin, CEO of United Way of Central Massachusetts. "We thank them deeply for allowing us to fulfill our mission of connecting people and resources to improve the community and for all they do."
