Berkshire Bank

Berkshire Bank and NESN have announced that the bank’s foundation will donate to New England Habitat for Humanity affiliates through its Hockey 4 Housing initiative during NESN’s coverage of the Boston Bruins 2015-16 season. Berkshire Bank Foundation will donate $200 for each successful Boston Bruins penalty kill during games from Nov. 1-April 1.

 

Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank distributed its fifth consecutive annual $10,000 grant through its charitable foundation to the Acushnet-based Gifts to Give nonprofit and its Martin Luther King Day of Service and Learning event held in partnership with UMass Dartmouth collaborative Southcoast Serves.

 

Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank

Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank presented 106 grants to teachers from 51 Cape, Island and Southeastern Massachusetts schools at its 16th Annual Educational Mini-Grants Awards & Reception at Cape Cod Community College.

 

Dedham Institution for Savings

The Dedham Institution for Savings has contributed $2,000 for funding Walpole’s Committee for Alcohol and Drug Awareness 2016 Video & Poster Contest. Students from Walpole elementary, middle and high school grade levels will participate in different categories to create poster and/or video productions that inform about the dangers of substance abuse.

 

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union recently donated $1,500 to benefit Zack’s Team Foundation, winners of the credit union’s Give-A-Click campaign. The foundation works to dismiss the shame and stigma associated with substance abuse, a mission in honor of Zachary Gys, who lost his battle with addiction in 2013 at the age of 21.

 

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank recently announced the winner of their High Five Savings Account iPad Mini drawing. Third-grader Matthew Dineen was the lucky winner after his parents opened a new High Five Savings Account, available for children and young adults under 19 years of age.

 

The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod

The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod will volunteer to assist Latham Centers in Sandwich in housing the centers’ six donkeys for their asinotherapy program. Asinotherapy is a unique treatment program that uses donkeys to help individuals with developmental disabilities learn important skills such as emotional regulation, relationship building and reliability.

 

Rollstone Bank & Trust

Rollstone Bank & Trust recently gave $5,000 to the Harvard Fire Department to help purchase a truck with an aerial lift.
