The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod

They Hyannis-based Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod announced its foundation had awarded $43,750 in grants to seven nonprofits including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & The Islands Cape Cod Children’s Place and homelessness services organization Homeless Not Hopeless.

Cummings

Cummings, the Woburn office landlord, donated $225,000 to the New England Legal Foundation through its foundation. The conservative legal group said the grant will support its new “Equalizer Institute,” which it described as “a new social and economic justice initiative aimed at providing free corporate legal services to underrepresented entrepreneurs.”

Rockland Trust Co.

Hannover-based Rockland Trust Co. announced its foundation had distributed $300,000 to 21 nonprofits as part of its 2023 racial equity grant program. Recipients range from African Cultural Services of Waltham to the YWCA of Southeastern Massachusetts.
