Bay State Savings Bank recently awarded $13,190 in grants to eight local nonprofit organizations through its charitable foundation.


Belmont Savings Bank

Belmont Savings Bank Foundation recently announced the Waltham Charitable Giving Community Grant Initiative. The foundation will invest $30,000 in five programs in Waltham. Voting will take place on the foundation’s website.


Blue Hills Bank

Blue Hills Bank participated in the Wediko Children’s Services 5th Annual Climb for Kids to raise funds to support at-risk children and families.


Boston Private

The CEO of Boston Private has joined the state chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and become a member of the CEOs Against Stigma team.


Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank recently presented $80,000 in to 12 Pawtucket, Rhode Island area nonprofit organizations.


Country Bank

Country Bank recently sponsored an interactive presentation at Ware Middle School, Charlton Middle School, Knox Trail in Spencer and Converse Middle School in Palmer to promote financial education, along with other subjects. Country Bank also announced it donated $670,000 to nearly 350 through its Charitable Giving Program in 2015.


HarborOne Bank

HarborOne Bank recently announced it will commit $1 million over the next 10 years to provide college scholarships as part of its ONECommunity Scholarship Program. This year, the bank will award 20 college scholarships worth $5,000 each.


Haverhill Bank

Haverhill Bank recently distributed $15,000 to the West Newbury Youth League to replace batting cages and dugouts. The bank also contributed $2,500 to the West Newbury Council on Aging.

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union has been named a 2016 recipient of St. Jeanne D’Arc School’s Elisabeth Bruyère Award. The award honors individuals and organizations who are dedicated to serving Lowell and its surrounding communities. Leominster Credit Union

Leominster Credit Union recently announced it will collect new and gently used books during the month of April in association with the Cooperative Credit Union Association Annual Book Drive. Leominster Credit Union also recently announced community members can bring up to three legal size file boxes or three 13-gallon kitchen trash bags to be shred for free at its upcoming Shred-A-Thon.


MutualOne Bank

MutualOne Bank has distributed a $5,000 grant to the MetroWest Meds program of the Natick Visiting Nurse Association, a not-for-profit home health care agency.


RTN Federal Credit Union

RTN Federal Credit Union is sponsoring health and wellness fairs at three Waltham schools this spring to raise awareness of the importance of financial health.
