Berkshire Bank will close its doors on Tuesday, June 7, to observe “Xtraordinary Day,” which encourages employees to participate in community-building volunteer projects.

Eastern Bank hosted “Dancing with the Stars” star Karina Smirnoff and former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie on June 1 for its annual “Community Quarterback” celebration. The bank’s charitable foundation awarded $600,000 to 45 nonprofit organizations at the event.
