Congress Building Corp. Named General Contractor For Conn. Senior Living Facility

Artist rendering of The Residence at South Windsor Farms Peabody-based Congress Building Corp. has been selected by Norwood-based LCB Senior Living LLC as general contractor for The Residence at South Windsor Farms in South Windsor, Conn.

LCB has closed on the purchase of a permitted site at 200 Deming St. in South Windsor and site work is underway. The senior development will include 80 apartments and will offer residents a broad spectrum of services and amenities in an active, stimulating community. Construction is scheduled for completion in early 2015.

Congress Building Corp. is currently providing construction management services for The Residence at Riverbend, LCB’s 75-apartment, senior living community being constructed in Ipswich, scheduled for completion in the fall of 2014.
