Boston-based Albany Road Real Estate Partners has acquired Meriden Executive Park in Connecticut for $16.3 million.

The 155,000-square-foot complex consists of two class A office buildings off I-91 at exit 19. At the time of the sale, the property was 92-percent leased. Major tenants include USI, the Institute of Professional Practice and PMI Insurance Group.

Albany Road Real Estate Partners is a private equity investment firm with close to $190 million in assets focused on office and industrial acquisitions along the Eastern seaboard. Its Connecticut holdings include Branford Business Center, a six-building R&D/industrial portfolio it acquired earlier this year for $14.3 million.

Patrick Mulready and John McCormick of CBRE/NE’s Hartford office represented the seller, TC Meriden LLC, and procured the buyer.
