Braintree-based Campanelli and Thorndike Development of Hudson broke ground Wednesday on Upland Woods, a 262-unit apartment complex in Norwood.
The complex containing a variety of apartment styles in seven four-story buildings is expected to be ready for occupancy in the summer of 2015. It is being built on an 82-acre parcel owned by Campanelli for more than a decade that formerly was a Polaroid Corp. campus. Community amenities will include a clubhouse and pool.
The project team at Upland Woods apartments includes Campanelli Construction, Kelly Engineering, Cube 3 Studio, Veitas and Veitas Engineering and Building Engineering Resources.
