North Shore Realtor Annette Carson has joined the staff of Conway’s Swampscott office.

Before becoming a Realtor, Carson owned and operated a number of businesses, including an interior design firm, floral shops and a longtime corporate gift company in Hingham.

"After selling my last business, I decided to make use of the real estate license that I had from 20 years ago," she said. "I started working for a small North Shore firm, and then I came to Conway Country."

Conway-Swampscott Manager Timothy Knowlton was happy to welcome Carson to his team.

"I could see the high level of professionalism Annette had the minute I met her," said Knowlton. "During her first year in the real estate rental business, she exceeded 93 transactions. That’s quite a record."

In other news, Jack Conway Realtor awarded Conway-South Boston Sales Agent Tia Zaferakis as the top lister and seller for both her office and companywide for the period of Jan. 1-April 30.

"We are so proud of Tia," said Conway CEO Carol Bulman. "She has been consistently successful since joining our South Boston sales team in 2003, and she has earned our highest honor – "annual tops in listings and sales companywide" in 2005, 2007 and 2009."

Zaferakis is a specialist in the Boston condominium market, including properties in the South End as well as parts of Milton.

"When I decided to enter real estate, I joined Jack Conway Co. because of its reputation for honesty and integrity," said Zaferakis, a South Boston native and lifelong resident. "I also liked the caring, family feel of the organization. As a Realtor, I form personal relationships with all of my buyers and sellers, and as a result, most of my new business comes from repeat customers and referrals."
