Norwell-based Conway Commercial has recently brokered sales in New Bedford and Brockton.
Paul Durgin, vice president of Conway Commercial, brokered the sale of a banquet and restaurant building at 123 Church St. in New Bedford for $900,000. The former Café Funchal is a 27,000-square-foot facility with function rooms, a restaurant and nightclub. Durgin represented the owner, MBCP REO, and procured the buyer, Centro Cristiano Emanuel Church, which will operate a religious facility with a retail component at the site.
Conway Commercial’s Tony Vacca brokered the $210,000 sale of 1854 Main St. in Brockton, which had been the headquarters of the Nilsson Stewart Fence Co. for more than 70 years. Vacca represented the owner, David Nilsson, and procured the buyer, Better Gardens LLC, which plans to develop a mental health facility on the 2.3-acre site.
