Ware-based Country Bank has named Shelley M. Regin first vice president, director of marketing.
Most recently, Regin served as vice president, regional retail banking officer. In the past, she has also held the positions of teller, receptionist, loan servicing representative, branch manager, sales and training officer and customer service manager.
Country Bank President Paul Scully said Regin’s vast experience makes her well suited for this new role.
"In the past, Shelley has consistently offered smart marketing ideas and successfully implemented them," he said in a statement. "In her new position, she will undoubtedly draw on her deep-rooted knowledge of Country Bank and her more recent studies to effectively communicate with the communities we serve."
Regin has her associate’s degree from Bay Path College, and in May 2013, will receive a bachelor’s degree from Western New England University. Later this year, she will also complete the financial services marketing diploma program offered by the Center for Financial Training. Regin also earned certification from the Massachusetts Bankers Association’s New England School for Financial Studies program at Babson College.
