Genetics testing firm Courtagen has completed its relocation to an expanded 25,000-square-foot headquarters at Cummings Properties’ 8 Cabot Road in Woburn.

It’s the second major expansion for Courtagen since 2010 as it approaches 100 employees. Previously it occupied 15,000 square feet at 12 Gill St.

Cummings Properties’ in-house design and construction teams completed the project including installation of a generator and makeup air unit more than a month ahead of schedule. Courtagen now occupies nearly half of 8 Cabot Road, which was completed in 2009.

Cummings Properties account manager Tony Spencer worked with JLL’s Brian Morrissey on the lease transaction.
