Life science firm Covaris has leased an additional 6,000 square feet at 14 Gill St. in Woburn, its fourth expansion in the last eight years.
The company now occupies 32,000 square feet of office, lab and warehouse space in the building for its 75 employees. Executives have a 25-year relationship with landlord Cummings Properties, having originally leased 2,000 square feet for founder and CEO Jim Laugharn’s BMA Laboratories on Olympia Avenue. The company moved to Gill Street in 2006.
Covaris provides tools used for sample preparation processes for development of products used in cancer research and clinical medicine.
