The prices of the commercial real estate (CRE) loans that collateralize commercial mortgage backed securities, as priced by according to Boston-based DebtX, rose to 85.3 percent last month, from 80.9 percent in October of last year.
In October, DebtX priced 52,806 CRE loans, with a $628.4 billion aggregate principal balance.
Prices also rose month-over-month, up from 85 percent in September, the company said.
"With little movement in interest rates, improving fundamentals in the CRE market had a noticeably positive impact on loan prices," DebtX CEO Kingsely Greenland said in a statement.
