400 AtlanticCredit Suisse has acquired 400 Atlantic Avenue in Boston from Colonnade Properties for $50 million.

Built in 1899 and recently renovated, the 103,000-square-foot office building is 100-percent leased to law firm Goulston & Storrs Pc.

Cushman & Wakefield brokered the transaction for New York-based Colonnade Properties and has been named manager of the property. Lacy Ltd. of Washington, D.C. served as advisers for Credit Suisse.

"400 Atlantic Avenue enjoys an enviable position in the top sector of its competitive market tier and is one of only five ‘Greenway Gem’ office properties fronting the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway to the west," said Cushman & Wakefield Executive Director Matt Pullen in a statement. "The scarcity of these assets presents a generational opportunity to acquire a unique and truly irreplaceable property."
