The Northern Massachusetts Telephone Workers’ Credit Union has purchased a former Haverhill Bank branch at 20 Cushing Ave. in Haverhill.
The credit union bought the building for $1.5 million and plans to open a branch in June.
The 6,500-square-foot structure was built in 2003 and was deemed surplus by Haverhill Bank after a recent acquisition, according to a statement.
Burt Barrett and Gene O’Neill of Northway Commercial Brokerage represented the seller and secured the buyer.
