Graham N. Curtis has been promoted to business development officer at Auburndale- based The Village Bank.

Curtis will be responsible for establishing and maintaining new account relationships within the bank’s marketplace.

Curtis joined the bank in January, and served as a business banking specialist before his recent promotion. He previously held positions in accounting with Nike Inc. and in marketing with Anheuser Busch.

A resident of Brighton, Curtis is a graduate of the University of Akron and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science. He serves on the Special Events Committee of the Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce, and is an active member of Boston Cares, a nonprofit group that organizes and leads team-oriented volunteer service opportunities throughout greater Boston.

The Village Bank has seven full-service offices in Newton and Wayland and a Village Loan Center in Auburndale.
