Cushman & Wakefield won five of seven awards at the Boston Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) dinner Thursday, March 7, 2013.
"We are extremely proud of the leadership, expertise and innovative solutions our brokerage professionals deliver to our clients each and every day at Cushman & Wakefield and we are delighted to receive CBA’s recognition of outstanding achievement in so many categories this year," said Thomas L. Collins, executive managing director of the firm’s New England region, in a statement.
Cushman & Wakefield’s wins included:
- Investment sale of the year: Robert E. Griffin Jr. and Edward C. Maher Jr. represented Bank of America in the sale of 100 Federal St. The sale represented one of the largest office building sales in the U.S. in 2012 and the only downtown office building sale in Boston last year.
- Downtown deal of the year: Gilbert Dailey, David Martel, Debra Gould, William Anderson and Griffin represented the tenant, Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), in the 411,128-square-foot, 15-year office lease at 50 Post Office Square.
- J.R. McDonald, Michael Frisoli, and Griffin represented GMCR in the 424,000-square-foot office, R&D and laboratory build-to-suit lease at Burlington Research Center, 43-63 South Ave. in Burlington.
