National drugstore chain CVS has purchased three parcels totaling 1.7 acres in Winchendon as the site for a new 13,225-square-foot store.
The three parcels, purchased for $1.44 million, were formerly auto dealership Mathieu Ford Sales Inc. and two residential homes, according to a statement. Construction for the new CVS store is set to begin this summer.
Michael C. Jacobs, principal of Worcester-based Glickman Kovago & Co., brokered the land purchase between CVS and the three property owners: Mathieu Ford Sales Inc., Susan M. Inferra and Norman and Theresa Sibley.
