David J. Fama and Nancy Furnari have both been promoted to the position of business development officer at Danversbank.
Each will be responsible for developing new deposit and loan business within specific territories for the retail side of the bank.
Danversbank is the principal subsidiary of Danvers Bancorp Inc.
Fama joined the bank in May 2007, to manage the bank’s Saugus branch. He has worked in banking for 25 years, starting his career as a teller at Malden Trust Co. in 1984.
Since then, he has held positions as both a branch manager and a mortgage loan officer.
Fama’s office is located at 1 Salem Street in Malden.
Furnari joined Danversbank in February 2008 to manage the bank’s two Salem locations – the first at 125 Canal St., and the second at 7 Traders Way.
She has worked in the banking and customer service industries for more than 30 years.
Her office is in the bank’s 7 Traders Way, Salem branch.
