Danversbank, the principal subsidiary of Danvers Bancorp, is set to open a new branch at 485 Mass Ave. in Cambridge today.

The location is the bank’s 16th full-service branch and the first to open in Cambridge.  The new office is 2,200 square feet in size, and features two ATMs, a self-service coin counter and a night depository for after-hours deposit drops.

Andrea Kantaros, a 30-year veteran of the banking industry, will manage the Cambridge office. She was most recently with Salem Five Bank in Peabody, where she spent two and a half years as a sales manager. 

Joseph Salim will be working alongside Kantaros as assistant branch manager.  Salim has previous experience with Citizens Bank.
