Davis Companies Acquires 1 Million SF Portfolio

100 Rustcraft Road The Davis Companies recently acquired 1.1 million square feet of property in Dedham and Worcester on behalf of one of its affiliated funds.

The Boston-based real estate investment and development firm acquired 100 Rustcraft Road in Dedham and 150 Blackstone River Road in Worcester following the foreclosure of the previous owner.

The Rustcraft Road property is a 493,000-square-foot complex with a combination of high-bay warehouse and single-story office and R&D space. The property is 59 percent leased, and tenants currently include the American Red Cross, Bank of America and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

The Blackstone River Road property is a pre-war, single-story 612,000-square-foot building and is presently 48 percent leased.
