Dedham Institution for Savings has named Abigail King assistant vice president, commercial lending officer.

King began her career at Dedham Savings in October 2003 as the post closing administrator in the Loan Servicing Department. In 2008, she began working as a credit analyst in the credit area, where she continued to work as credit officer.

Prior to coming to Dedham, she worked at several other Massachusetts banking institutions including Medford Bank, Institution for Savings in Newburyport and Seamen’s Bank in Provincetown. In addition to her ongoing seminars and education in commercial lending, she earned a bachelor’s of arts in psychology from University of Connecticut.

She lives in Dedham with her husband and three children. King also volunteers as treasurer on the board of the Dedham Community Association.
