Lighting firm Digital Lumens has relocated its headquarters to 374 Congress St. in Boston’s revitalized "Innovation District."
Digital Lumens said it signed a lease for 16,000 square feet of space to accommodate the company’s growing business, customer base and staffing. The company has more than doubled space from its former West End location, allowing it to expand research and development facilities, sales and support areas. The lease was brokered by T3 Advisors in Waltham.
"I am delighted that Digital Lumens has chosen to relocate their headquarters within the city and expanded the ranks of clean-tech companies calling the Innovation District home," Boston Mayor Thomas Menino said in a statement.
"We are thrilled to be joining this vibrant Fort Point community, which is built around entrepreneurship and innovation in Boston," added Tom Pincince, president and CEO of Digital Lumens. "The company has seen a substantial increase in customer base and staffing, necessitating a move to larger space. Being part of this rejuvenated and energetic area is a terrific opportunity for the company, and for our employees."
Digital Lumens develops "Intelligent LED Lighting Systems" that reduce industrial customers’ lighting-related electricity expenses, the company said.
