DoubleTree by Hilton has opened in Leominster.

The hotel, formerly a Four Points by Sheraton, began a multi-million dollar renovation last month that is expected to complete in spring 2014. The hotel continues to be managed by Driftwood Hospitality Management.

As part of the seven-story, 15,000-square-foot hotel’s renovations, updates will be made throughout its 188 rooms, lobby, fitness center and food and beverage menus. Located along the Johnny Appleseed Trail, it has 13 flexible meeting rooms and a 7,800-square-foot grand ballroom with 14-foot ceilings, making it the largest grand ballroom in Northern Worcester County.
