A relocation by a downtown law firm will fill two floors at a Boston office tower that was renovated just prior to the pandemic.

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati signed a long-term lease for 40,975 square feet at One Boston Place, in a relocation from 28 State St.

The firm will occupy the 19th and 20th floors of the 41-story, 825,000-square-foot building.

Landlords Nuveen and Hines/Ivanhoe Cambridge completed $10 million in updates to the 52-year-old tower shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. The property includes the new Wolfgang Steakhouse, Tatte Bakery and Café, a fitness center, lounge and roof deck.

Cushman & Wakefield’s John Boyle and Ryan Hurd and Washington Realty Group’s Eric Berson represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Newmark’s Jason Cameron and Gil Dailey represented ownership.
