Drugas Joins Blue Hills Bank

George N. Drugas has joined Blue Hills Bank, based in Hyde Park, as vice president, team leader of small business banking.

Drugas will lead small business relationship management team, as well as growing and maintaining effective networking relationships, the bank said. He and his team will focus on building the small business customer portfolio at Blue Hills Bank.

He has more than 10 years of banking experience, having previously worked in business banking for Brookline Bank and Sovereign/Santander.

Drugas has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston State College.

"We are pleased to have George join our Small Business Banking Team. His lending expertise in this business niche will be a true asset as we grow this important segment of our business," A. Scott Thimann, executive vice president of retail banking, said in a statement.
