William F. Dwyer William F. Dwyer has been named president and chief executive officer of First Financial Trust, a subsidiary of The Savings Bank.

Dwyer has more than 43 years of investment strategy and management experience, most recently as president and chief investment officer with MTBIA (M&T Bank) of Baltimore, Md.

During his 11 years at MTBIA, he was directly responsible for investment policy, strategy and research for assets, which grew from $3 billion to more than $14 billion. He also served as chairman and investment advisor for MTB- Delaware Corp., and as a director for Zurkin & Cutler Investment Advisor.

He also previously served as chief investment officer for Citizen Financial Group of Providence, R.I., and worked at Bank of New England (Bank of America) in Boston, Lincoln First Bank (J.P. Morgan Chase) and with Valley Bank & Trust and Hartford National Corp., both now part of Bank of America.
