eastcambridgeEast Cambridge Savings Bank’s board of trustees has elected John P. Mahoney and Stephen M. Kelly senior vice presidents, and Ronald Layne trustee.

Mahoney, of Stoneham, will oversee retail banking operations, investment services and serve as the bank’s consumer compliance officer and bank secrecy act officer.

He joined East Cambridge Savings Bank as a part-time teller in 1987. During his time with East Cambridge Savings Bank, he was elected to a number of positions including; assistant vice president in 1991; vice president in 2001; and corporator in 2005.

Kelly, of Medford, will oversee facilities and information technology. He also serves as the bank’s information security officer.

Kelly has been an employee of East Cambridge Savings Bank since 1978 and has worked in a number of different positions through his tenure, including bank teller, branch manager and branch administrator. He has also held numerous elected positions; he was elected assistant vice president in 1990, vice president in 1993 and corporator in 1996.

In addition to being an officer of East Cambridge Savings Bank, Kelly is also a member of the Massachusetts Bankers Association Bank Systems and Technology Committee.

Layne, of Brockton, is an assistant chief probation officer for the Cambridge District Court, a position he has held since 1984. He has been a corporator of East Cambridge Savings Bank since 2009.
