Peter Joseph, who founded Eastdil Secured’s Boston office and co-managed it since 2007, joins Cushman & Wakefield as vice chairman. Brian Barnett and Steffen Panzone, who were with Eastdil for nine and five years respectively, join Cushman & Wakefield’s Northeast office as managing directors.

“Peter and team bring deep client relationships and are a great cultural fit with our team,” Joe Fallon, Cushman & Wakefield’s New England market leader, said in a statement.

Cushman & Wakefield has been rebuilding its capital markets and brokerage divisions in Boston since a mass exodus in September triggered by its $2-billion merger with DTZ. Former President Robert Griffin and dozens of local employees joined Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in Boston.
