Eastern Bank has appointed Roxann C. Cooke vice president and branch manager of the bank’s Ashmont Station office located at 1906 Dorchester Ave.    

Cooke joined Eastern Bank in 2009 as a vice president and branch manager of the bank’s Lynn office at 195 Market St.

"Roxann is very involved in the community and is a great addition to our team in Greater Boston," Robert DiGiovanni, senior vice president and regional manager, said in a statement.  "Roxann is a true professional and we are excited about the high level of service she provides to our customers in Dorchester." 

Cooke serves on the board of several organizations including: the South Middlesex County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Adolescent Consultation Services, Inc. in Cambridge, Girls Inc. of Lynn, the Dorchester YMCA and Ashmont Hill Chamber Music.

Cooke received her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, and has a graduate certificate in business administration from Harvard’s Extension School.
