Eggrock Modular Solutions has been selected to manufacture and install 118 factory-built bathrooms for a Hilton Garden Inn to be constructed in Devens.

The company will work in a design-assist role with the hotel owner who, for the first time, is using prefabricated bathrooms to accelerate the construction schedule.

"I did my research and definitely wanted to use prefabrication on this project from a quality and scheduling standpoint," said Robert Walker, manager of Devens Inn LLC. "Eggrock Modular Solutions’ factory manufacturing gave me the best product."

Eggrock Modular Solutions combines the latest BIM and manufacturing technologies with a controlled production environment to produce consistent, high-quality bathrooms for hotels, hospitals and other multi-unit construction projects.

"There was a short learning curve understanding how prefabricated bathrooms integrate with my architectural plans, but using 3D models developed by Eggrock’s design and engineering team made everything quickly come together, exceeding my expectations," said Walker.

Typical hotel construction schedules can be reduced by 20 percent to 30 percent by utilizing Eggrock’s factory-built bathrooms, which allows owners to open earlier, driving additional revenue, according to a statement.
